Kim Taehyung, better known as BTS V, decided he is stepping into 2026 in a sexy way. Ahead of his “TYPE 非” photobook release, he dropped jaw-dropping photos and videos on December 31 that show a version of V that ARMY has never seen! He just turned 30 on December 30, 2025, and celebrated with Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, Jimin, and Jungkook. While fans were already loving the birthday moments, V rolled out a fierce, bold, and spicy look that made social media go crazy.

Photos reveal V wearing blue eyeshadow, smudged lipstick, lenses, and even spiked hair. It is extra, dramatic, and completely different from anything he has done before. ARMY already nicknamed it his “rebirth era.” But the photo that sent fans into overdrive was his shirtless picture, in which he flaunts his muscular physique. In addition, a black-and-white teaser video was posted on December 31 showing V bare-chested with emotional eyes. channeling all the mystery, seduction, and intrigue of “TYPE 非.” 
TYPE 非 is a 278-page hardcover that acts as a follow-up to his 2024 TYPE 1 project. It includes 20 chapters crafted with his participation and even features unreleased photos. Preorders opened December 31, 2025, through Weverse Shop and more, with a price tag of around 40 to 50 dollars. Global shipping begins January 19. HYBE also announced an ON-SITE IN SEOUL immersive exhibition scheduled for January 20 through February 1 that will showcase media art honoring the photobook’s themes.
