On December 27, the K-Pop idol surprised his fans with another live stream, this time in voice format, to answer their questions and share updates about his current life activities and feelings, making ARMYs feel closer to him.
Amid their interaction, V confessed that he has been thinking of permanently removing the beard:
“I’m seriously considering getting laser hair removal for my beard, but it hurts so much. People around me keep saying it hurts soooo, soooo bad, which makes me hesitate even more. They say you have to do it about seven times… and go through that pain? Yeah, that’s not happening.”

The BTS member also said that he really liked his beard, but what disappointed him was the growth length, as “it was so different from what I had imagined in my head,” and despite saying he didn’t want to show fans what his beard looked like now, a few minutes later he turned on the camera and gave them a glimpse of his look.
