BTS’ V ventured into the American market with his critically acclaimed album, “Layover.” The rollout of the album was enough for the idol to establish as a powerful force of the Kpop genre in the United States, and his latest festive collaboration is the living proof of it.
Previously, the legendary crooner Bing Crosby released “White Christmas,” with BTS’ V, which caused a commotion among the K-Netizens. Billboard updated the song’s position on the Hot 100 by stating that the song debuted at No. 93.
“White Christmas,” joins “FRI(END)S,” and “Winter Ahead (with Park Hyo Shin)” as the three charting songs on Billboard Hot 100 in 2024. V has become the Korean artist with the most Hot 100 entries in 2024.
On top of that, “White Christmas,” marks V’s sixth solo entry on the Hot 100. The success of this new single extends beyond the Hot 100. It also claimed the No.1 spot on both the Digital Song Sales and Holiday Digital Song Sales charts.
