As of April 20th, after just 135 days, BTS‘ Taehyung had surpassed 40 million followers on his personal Instagram, making him the person to achieve this record in the shortest period of time in the platform’s history.
In December of last year, V and other members of BTS took social media by storm when they launched their individual Instagram accounts 8 years after their debut. Previously, they only used the group’s official accounts, such as Twitter and the Weverse fan community, to communicate with fans.
