BTS introduces a new concept for the Arirang era
BTS has revealed the official artwork for their upcoming album “Arirang,” giving fans a first look at the group’s new visual style. In the images shared by BigHit Entertainment, RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are seen in dark suits, wearing elegant expressions. The images showcase a sophisticated, mature concept that aligns with the start of a new era for the group. In addition, the post featured close-up photos of each BTS member, which were also used as individual covers for the album’s physical vinyl variants.

The album marks an important return for the group
Arirang is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026, and it will be BTS’ fifth studio album. It is also their first full-length album release in six years. The record includes 14 songs and follows “Be,” which was released in 2020 and debuted at No. 1 in South Korea, Japan, and the United States. That album also included major hits like “Life Goes On” and “Dynamite.” BTS returns to this new album era after the members completed their South Korean military service in 2025 and concluded their solo projects, making this comeback especially meaningful for both the group and its fans.
BTS connects the album to its roots and future plans
According to BigHit Entertainment, “Arirang” takes its title from a traditional Korean folk song known for themes of connection, distance, and reunion. A press release issued in January 2026 described the album as a reflective project focused on BTS’ identity and roots. This comeback will also include a live event titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, which will stream from Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21, 2026 and will follow a world tour with around 82 confirmed concert dates.
