BTS has officially kicked off the hype for their long-awaited full group return, and they did it in a big, symbolic way! On January 5, 2025, the central staircase of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts near Gwanghwamun Square was transformed into a massive outdoor display honoring BTS. The installation featured the group’s name, their new album logo, and the confirmed release date of March 20.

BigHit Music Entertainment (the group’s company) explained the choice of location, saying BTS began their career in Korea and grew into a global act, so returning as a full group in the heart of Seoul felt meaningful. The agency also revealed that this offline promotion will not stop there, as similar campaigns will be launched in major cities like New York, Tokyo, and London.

“BTS began in Korea and has grown into a group active on the global stage. As they return as a complete group after a long time, we chose to hold this offline promotion in the heart of Seoul, their cultural home.”

At the top of the staircase, a sculptural version of the new album’s logo has drawn significant attention. Fans first saw the logo through handwritten letters BTS recently sent out, and while its meaning has not been officially explained, fans are already excited for this new start. This project will mark BTS’s 5th full-length album, featuring 14 tracks and becoming their first comeback in about three years and nine months. Following the release of the album, BTS will reportedly being a world tour with details dropping on February 14, 2026.
