BTS embarked on a journey with no return to success in the international markets with their new song, “SWIM,” off their 5th full album, “ARIRANG.” Ultimately, the idols are breaking records and snatching crowns that no other act can; that’s why another Music Bank win is a huge celebration for the fandom, better known as ARMY.
On April 3 KST, the global superstar acts were nominated for first place on Music Bank, showcasing their strong streak across major South Korean music program circuits. However, the show shone on its own with the iconic performances of AmbiO, V01D, Min Jiwoon, S2IT, Kangmin, Yuna, Kino, and other amazing Kpop acts.
Just before the show ended, the hosts took over the stage to make the long-awaited announcement of this week’s winner. BTS’s “SWIM,” and Yuna’s “Ice Cream” competed head-to-head, but BTS secured the win with a total score of 9,477 points, over Yuna’s 5,803 points.
This becomes BTS’s seventh win overall in music shows, including ‘Show Champion,’ ‘M! Countdown,’ and ‘Music Bank,’ along with a win on ‘Inkigayo.’ Is there something BTS cannot achieve? Congratulations to the idols on this major win.
