BTS’ Taehyung, commonly known as “V”, has become the latest member of the band to put a stop to his musical activities to start a career in a different field. The Korean singer has signed up with the Indonesian Investment company SimInvest as the new international brand ambassador.

Ferita Liem, president commissioner of Sinarmas Sekuritas, recognized the relevance and the importance of the band at a global scale and the reason to collaborate with one of its members:

“The reason is clear, we see V since has his own activities, Instagram records, his career path, his hard work, his records and everything. We look forward to creating meaningful projects together.”

It was also announced that the company will hold a fan meeting to kickoff their partnership. The announcement generated hysteria online among the ARMY as this will make V the first BTS member in a while to do one. Everyone wants to be one of the lucky fans that will have the opportunity of spending a fun time with their favorite idol and engaging with him in a close space.

However, fans are worried that more members of the band are putting their music career aside to focus on other things or to enlist in the military. This makes a comeback with all the members extremely unlikely at the moment. However, it is completely normal for artists to have partnerships while they are on hiatus or between projects so it is a fact that we will see them all together again in the future.

  • They said they will return. There’s no doubt that they want to perform together as 7. Taehyung and the other members becoming ambassadors doesn’t mean they want to give up music.

  • I’m happy for all the guys of BTS. They worked really hard for their success and deservers to live their lives to the fullest. I’ve been listening to them since 2014 and been longing to see BTS in person. Unfortunately that Never happened bc of the Covid pandemic. When America finally open their doors and welcomed KPOP groups to tour again Texas was not in their plans. They only went to Los Angeles and had sold out concerts there. Then they had a week long celebration in Las Vegas. Again I was not able to attend due to distance’s or fund’s. I hope one day they will reunite as OT7 and give All Army’s a chance to see them perform in person.

  • I trust the Tannies… they said they’ll be back & will perform together well into the future. In the meantime, I’m enjoying the opportunity to focus on their individual activities, collaborations & songs/albums. Their “break” is more exhausting to keep up with – and considerably more expensive! – but worth it to see them grow as people & as artists. Loved Jack in the Box & Indigo, The Astronaut, Rush Hour, Sexy Nukim, Vibe & on the street. Can’t wait for FACE & to see Yoongi in concert on May 10th. Looking forward to future releases as well. And there’s one thing I can count on: while they may be brand Ambassadors in the interim, they are all musical artists first & foremost. It will be long after I’m gone if they ever give up performing & recording for some other line of work.
