BTS has earned another major Billboard milestone thanks to “Swim,” which ranked among the highest songs on the publication’s 2026 Global Songs of the Summer list. The seasonal ranking, published on September 10, is based on worldwide streaming and sales data collected during the summer.
“Swim,” the main single from BTS’ fifth studio album ARIRANG, ranked #2 on Global Excl. U.S. and #6 on the Global 200. The song has also appeared on both charts throughout the year, becoming a consistent hit. The track has also topped Global Excl. U.S. eight times and spent 23 consecutive weeks in the top five. On the Global 200, “Swim” peaked at #1 four times and remained in the top 10 for 19 weeks. As of the chart dated September 12, the song sits at #7 on Global Excl. U.S. and #18 on the Global 200.
Meanwhile, the ARIRANG album has spent 24 weeks on the Billboard 200 and climbed two spots from the previous week, sitting at #29. BTS returned to South Korea on September 8 after completing the North American leg of its ARIRANG tour. The group sold 1.92 million tickets across 31 sold-out shows during the North American run. They will resume their global tour on October 2 and 3, in Bogotá, Colombia. The 7-member team will then visit Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil throughout the month.
