Since BTS’s “ARIRANG” release along with their title track, “SWIM,” the success has come with no precedents. The idols’ popularity skyrocketed to new heights, and South Korean music program circuits, just like Music Core, cannot get enough.

On the April 11 MBC broadcast, the show was hyped by KEYVITUP, Baby DONT Cry, KickFlip, YOUNG POSSE, S2IT, cosmos, Hwasa, and Red Velvet’s Irene, among other great acts. However, what really stood out during the show was the weekly competition where BTS was fighting to snatch the crown.

BTS 'SWIM' 12TH WIN ON MUSIC CORE

The top three nominees were BTS with “SWIM,” Wonpil with “Highs and Lows,” and Hearts2Hearts with “RUDE! Ultimately, BTS emerged victorious despite not appearing on the live broadcast with 8,293 points against 6,214 and 3,912 points, respectively.

BTS has now earned a total of 12 music show wins for “SWIM,” which only solidifies BTS’s status in South Korea and dominance in the music charts across the globe. The idols are on a fire strike that seems to never end. Congratulations to BTS!
