BTS shares which celebrities made them feel starstruck, including names like Gracie Abrams

The group spoke about memorable famous guests and reflected on recent career achievements

BTS might be one of the most famous music groups in the world, but the members are not shying away from the fanboys inside of them! During a recent interview posted on April 1, 2026, on The Elvis Duran Show, RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook admitted that they still have starstruck moments. The group was asked about popular celebrities who had attended their shows, and a few of them revealed names that had them starstruck.

SUGA answered first with a general response, saying that it feels special when artists he admired while growing up come to see BTS perform. Then, RM shared one specific memory, saying that actor Matthew McConaughey attended one of their concerts in 2019 with his son. The BTS leader said the moment stood out to him because he had been liked in Interstellar, one of the actor’s best-known films. After that, J-Hope revealed that Gracie Abrams attended one of their concerts and described her as an amazing artist. In addition, he said it felt surreal to know that such respected names were watching their show.

This interview also arrived during a major moment for the group. BTS recently released their new album ARIRANG on March 20, 2026, and the project debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, with its main single SWIM also entering atop the Hot 1000. The album has also had strong demand globally, charting at #1 in the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and the home country, South Korea.
