After false rumors were spread about HYBE’s attempts to get the South Korean government to exempt Bangtan from military service. The South Korean government reached the agreement for BTS members to do their military service at the age of 30.
Right now, Jin, the eldest member of BTS, is already 30 years old, so he should compulsorily enter the South Korean military before the end of 2022. The option of all Bangtan members entering military service together has also come up, but this is not yet fully confirmed.
