RM, the leading member of the popular South Korean Kpop group BTS, has opened his heart and decided to talk about something his fans don’t want to hear: the end of the group. The Idol, settling around the compulsory military service that each of his fellow members is performing, has stated that every beginning must have its end.

Through a recent interview with the Spanish news agency EFE after his visit to Spain as part of a family vacation trip, RM confessed that being at the top with BTS is difficult, so he will have to wait to reunite with his bandmates in 2025 after each of them completes their military service to try to find a new chapter for the group.

However, the rapper spoke very sincerely and also stressed that the future of K-Pop is not clear even for them, so he stated that even in BTS “nothing lasts forever“.

“When you are famous, staying on top is very difficult,” he admits, “but I think BTS will make it. It will come together again when we finish our military service, and we will look for new synergies between us to enter a second phase. But, in any case, nothing lasts forever.”#RM pic.twitter.com/GFW1mLQN1f

The Idol’s words have saddened the entire ARMY, who wished that the group was forever. However, as we all know, nothing is forever.

Aside from that, RM also stated that after 10 years of career, he had forgotten who he was, but the hiatus that BTS is currently experiencing has helped him to reconnect with his roots and the reasons why he joined the popular Kpop group.

What do you think about RM’s statements?
