The idols entered a hiatus after some members of the boy band started to fulfill their military duties with the South Korean army, and finally, the remaining members are going to follow their mates’ steps.
RM, Jimin, Jungkook, and V had such an amazing year in music as they were praised for their solo work and met success worldwide. Despite the huge hype created around their solo debut albums, the idols are ready to enter a new chapter of their lives.
On November 29, KST, it was reported that RM and V would enter a training center together on December 11, just one day before, Jungkook and Jimin would enter the same recruit training center together on December 12. After they complete their training, they are going to serve their country as active-duty soldiers in the army for the next 18 months.
BigHit Music, BTS’ music agency released a statement emphasizing cheering up the idols for a return to good health. The statement continued by asking BTS’ fans, better known as ARMY, to show all of their support and unwavering love for the next months.
On the other hand, BTS Jin, J-Hope, and Suga are currently fulfilling their mandatory service obligations. The first to be discharged of his duties are going to be Jin who enlisted in military service on December 21 and his tentative discharge date ranges to June 2024.
