RM, the leader of the famous South Korean boyband, BTS surprised his fans, the so-called ARMY, when he debuted his close-cropped hair. This notorious change increased the speculations he might be the next to enlist in the South Korean military mandatory service, which lasts two years.
On August 5, the South Korean rapper landed at the Incheon International Airport in Seoul, after his trip to Japan. The paparazzi and the ARMY quickly noticed the change in RM’s hairstyle, and the new hair look left them all shocked.
The speculations and rumors regarding RM’s enlistment into the military service increased exponentially. It is said that he is the next one to join his bandmates, J-Hope and Jin, for at least two years. The ARMY is not prepared for him to stop working actively in music, as he released his critically acclaimed album, Indigo in 2022.
RM is expected to receive frontline military training during the next two years in order to become an active soldier for his nation. This training will be rewarded with a military certificate, such as the ones J-Hope and Jin are set to receive once they fulfill their duties with their country. As always, the ARMY are going to be eagerly waiting for their homecoming and for them to start working as a band once again.
