BTS members have had a great run as solo artists in South Korea and worldwide. RM and Jimin are the living proof that they are a major mainstream force with their latest musical releases. That’s why they were nominated at the American Music Awards.
On April 23, the official AMAs website released the nominees in different categories for their upcoming ceremony. RM and Jimin have both been nominated for favorite Kpop artist, becoming the first time the two artists have received nominations as solo performers at the awards ceremony.
BTS’ fans, better known as ARMY, are split rooting for their favorite member of the famous boy band. Whatever the outcome is, the boys have been recognized for their immense talent and contribution to music with their unique and fresh style! This year’s ceremony is set to take place on May 26 at 5 p.m. in Los Angeles.
