BTS confirm worldwide tour launch and album details

BTS officially confirmed their 2026 to 2027 world tour after announcing a new album release planned for March 20, 2026. The boygroup revealed the large-scale concert experience, titled BTS World Tour, on January 13, 2026, and stated that their tour and upcoming album will promote their first studio record since the 2020 album “Be.”

The title for the upcoming album, as well as the singles spawning from it, have not been confirmed. However, they’re expected to be announced closer to their release date. Despite most details kept underwraps, BTS fans (known as ARMY) are celebrating the return of the seven members to live touring after several years focused on individual projects and their military services.

BTS outline tour scope and stage experience

The global tour is set to include 79 concerts across 34 regions in Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and Australia, with more dates expected to be announced. It was also stated that the shows will utilize a 360-degree in-the-round stage design, placing fans around the performers for a more immersive environment.

This type of stage structure is expected to increase venue capacity and provide a more visible performance for the concert-goers. According to the tour dates and their reach, the announcement is already marking a record for the boygroup. The tour will have the highest number of stops and the widest regional reach in one continuous run.

BTS announce international dates and ticket plans

The tour begins in April 2026 with concerts in Goyang and Tokyo before continuing to Tampa, El Paso, Mexico City, Stanford and Las Vegas. Then, the boyband will perform in Busan on June 12 and June 13 followed by appearances in Madrid, Brussels, Munich, and Paris. London hosts two dates on July 6 and July 7, 2026.
