BTS releases the official performance video for “SWIM”

The new video follows the group’s full comeback event and the strong global response of their album ARIRANG

BTS has continued their full group comeback by releasing the official performance video for “SWIM,” one of the main songs from their new full-length album ARIRANG. This marks the first look at the choreography for the song, as the official video features no dance moves from the members. Instead, the clip showcases BTS on a ship as they sail and navigate with a female protagonist.

The boy band first officially returned on March 21, 2026, at 8 PM with the BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG, a large-scale concert held at Gwanghwamun Square. The show celebrated the release of the group’s latest project and featured the first live performances of several new songs. “SWIM,” the main single, was one of the biggest highlights of the night and quickly drew strong attention from fans around the world as the song that represents the era.

Before the official performance video was widely released, BTS had already uploaded it to Spotify and Apple Music one day earlier. Major streaming achievements have also marked the boy group’s stellar return. According to Spotify, ARIRANG became the most-streamed K-pop album in the platform’s history, and it was also named the most-streamed album of any genre in a single day in 2026 so far.

The album’s success did not stop there. All 14 songs from ARIRANG took over the top 14 spots on Spotify’s daily Global Top Songs chart. In addition, “SWIM” debuted at Number 1, while the other tracks followed right behind it. With the official performance video now released, BTS is continuing promotions for their latest era. Their comeback has now become one of the biggest music events in 2026.
