A few moments ago, BTS released the first official teaser for their song ‘SWIM,’ generating more enthusiasm, praise, and speculations about the story they will tell.
On March 17th, the boy group shared through its official social network a new video of only 16 seconds teasing the concept of their upcoming album titled track ‘SWIM,’ coming out this Friday KST with the full album.
The short video shows a woman running into a maritime museum surrounded by different naval models. When she approaches one of them and stares at it with attention, the word ‘SWIM’ appears in cursive over the ocean waves.
These new images expose the aesthetic of the upcoming new MV for this song, like vintage with warm tones and Maritime Academia style, while the music also keeps the mystery and nostalgia with the intention that the viewer focus on the history and symbolism.
BTS will pay tribute to their Korean roots in their next album, ‘ARIRANG’
The K-Pop group’s upcoming album will be a mix between modern pop and traditional Korean music inspired by an event in 1896, when seven Korean students recorded ‘Arirang’ for the first time, using this story to draw a parallel with their own mission to spread Korean culture globally.
BTS’ full album ‘ARIRANG’ is set to be released on March 20th KST.
