BTS’ “Butter” just hit the 500 million mark on YouTube and with it more history for the popular Korean group
On August 7 at approximately 9:15 a.m. KST, BTS’ music video for their smash hit “Butter” surpassed 500 million views on YouTube, making it the group’s 11th music video to do so after “DNA”, “Fire”, “Fake Love” , “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)”, “IDOL”, “Dope”, “Boy With Luv”, “Blood Sweat & Tears”, “Save Me” and “Dynamite”.
BTS originally released the music video for “Butter” on May 21 at 1 p.m. KST, which means it took just over 77 days and 20 hours for the song to reach the milestone.
