The group delivers a heartfelt statement
During their statements, the members opened their hearts and thanked everyone who helped the LOVE MYSELF campaign become a global movement. They shared that the award is more than recognition for them. BTS wanted to boost encouragement for everyone who believes in loving themselves and creating a kinder world. They also dedicated the honor to ARMY (their fans) and promised to keep pushing for positive change.
“We feel a deep sense of fulfillment knowing that the ‘LOVE MYSELF’ campaign has had a positive impact on our society. We believe this award is not so much for us, but a gesture of support and encouragement to everyone who resonated with the message of ‘loving ourselves and loving the world.’ We especially want to dedicate this honor to ARMY, who helped create this campaign with us. We will continue striving to contribute to warm and healthy change.”

BTS first teamed up with UNICEF Korea in 2017 and launched LOVE MYSELF to support violence prevention and mental health for young people across 155 countries and regions. The boy group helped provide mental wellness programs to more than 100 million people worldwide and raised about 9.2 billion KRW with their fans. Their efforts made them UNICEF’s largest private partner in child protection. With their influence growing every year, BTS continues to be recognized at home and around the globe for philanthropy and social impact. This honor comes as ARMYs prepare for BTS’ comeback, which is set to be promoted with a full-length album and a world tour.
