Which was supposed to be an exciting event with no precedent on the BTS catalog, ended up being a huge disappointment for the followers of the group, specially, the ones that will be attending the show.
A snippet of what the Busan World Expo 2030 Concert will be like has been shared by the BTS crew, but it was not that much of an improvement from other concerts, even after a huge promotion campaign to make it look like it was going to be a great and bigger spectacle.
The show will be given this coming 15 of October to more than 100.000 assistants, for free, as the main event of the World Expo 2030, which will be Korea’s first and biggest global event. BTS‘ record label and representants, HYBE, declared to have invested a huge amount of funds into the concert.
The special event drew a lot of anticipation from fans, even the Korean government was happy to be able to offer a show with the current biggest band of the world, who also happen to be Korean. It’s a huge opportunity for the host country to put their name on the news around the world.
BTS Fans, used to great shows, are not getting much this time around
However, all the hype that the concert had kind off disappeared after the snippet of what the show will be like was shared, with no major changes to a simple BTS concert that you can find online.
The reaction of the fans, the ARMY as they call themselves, is proof enough of the disappointment, which was basically: “So that’s it?”. It’s still expected for the concert to be a big event, just not something new.
Fans are hoping they will add something new to the show, but it’s not certain yet.
There are still a few days for the organization of the concert to come up with something entertaining, lets wish for the best outcome possible, we are sure the fans will love it either way.
