BTS joins forces with Google to promote the upcoming album
BTS has teamed up with Google to launch a scavenger hunt connected to their upcoming album ARIRANG. The game began on Thursday, March 5, 2026, and is available only on mobile devices. Fans can start by typing “BTS” into the Google search bar. After that, a small message appears at the bottom of the screen. As soon as fans click it, they are taken through trivia questions and challenges based on the group. While playing the game, they can unlock digital souvenirs and other clues related to the album.
Google will release new clues every week before March 20, 2026
The scavenger hunt is designed to continue in stages, taking place each week before the album arrives on March 20, 2026. The campaign also highlights BTS’s long-lasting online popularity, as according to the promotion, the group has been Google’s most searched boy band of all time since 2004. This partnership gives fans a fun way to stay involved while waiting for BTS’s new music and keeps attention focused on the group during the final days before release.
BTS has also shared more album details and comeback plans
The Google game is only one part of BTS’s promotional campaign for ARIRANG. The group recently appeared on the cover of GQ and spoke about its growth and evolution. On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, BTS also revealed the official tracklist and producer credits for the album. Diplo, Kevin Parker, Mike WiLL Made It, and Ryan Tedder helped produce the project, while the members participated in writing across all 14 tracks. BTS will also hold a comeback concert on March 21, 2026, one day after the album release. The event will take place on Gwanghwamun Square and will be streamed on Netflix.
