BTS keeps ARIRANG at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart

The group adds another Australian chart achievement as new albums enter the top ranks

BTS is still leading the ARIA Albums Chart in Australia, with their latest project, ARIRANG, holding the #1 position for a second week. Released through Virgin Music Group and Geffen, the album became the group’s second album to spend more than one week at the top in Australia. In addition, their 2020 album Map Of The Soul: 7 also stayed at #1 for two weeks. Before that, Map Of The Soul: Persona topped the chart for one week in 2019, and Proof did the same in 2022. This latest chart position confirms BTS has a strong fan base in Australia and a massive demand.

Fans in the country will also get the chance to see the group next year. The BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG is scheduled to visit Melbourne on February 12 and February 13 at the Marvel Stadium, then Sydney on February 20 and February 21 at the Accor Stadium. This announcement adds more excitement to the chart success of ARIRANG, especially for Australian ARMY members who have continued to support the group throughout the years.

Other artists also made notable moves this week. Ye entered at #3 with Bully, while Melanie Martinez debuted at #4 with Hades, following her 2023 album Portals, which reached #1 for one week. In addition, Raye earned her best ARIA chart positions with This Music May Contain Hope, opening at #6. Veteran pop hitmaker Robyn also reached a new career peak with Sexistential, her ninth studio album and first in eight years, debuting #12.
