HYBE, The managing team and owners of the global sensation and ambassadors of Kpop, BTS, took to Twitter to confirm the awaited news of the participation of the singer in the opening ceremony, and the official soundtrack of the hymn as well.
The fans were happy to know that one of the seven members of the group would partake in the event, which is considered to be the second biggest crossover event between music and sports, only behind the Superbowl Half Time Show.
Jungkook is the youngest, yet the most popular member of the seven-member South Korean music group, they conquered the world with their album “Map of The Soul 7”, which was the best-selling album of last year, 2021. To prove their fame and relevancy, one of them was invited to be part of the opening ceremony, which will be held this coming November 20th at the Al Bayt Stadium in the match between Ecuador and the local team, Qatar. This boys prove, once again, to be unstoppable.

The show will be Colombian-studded, with all-time-favorite Colombian singer Shakira being the main artist and Colombian “Mi Gente” singer, J Balvin, also partaking in the event. British Kosovo-Albanian singer Dua Lipa will also be entertaining the attendants and of course, BTS’ Jungkook, who will be the Asian representant on the Opening ceremony.
