In a new episode of his trip show, BTS‘ Jungkook talked about the time he fell in love with a dancer in the United States, surprising his member with one of his first love stories.
While the boys were dining together and generating content for their show ‘Are You Sure?!’, the Golden Maknae decided to share a young love story, revealing, “The first time I ever liked someone who wasn’t Korean was when I went to the US for that month-long trainee program”.
Jungkook shares a love story from his youth
Jungkook confirmed to Jimin it was when he was in 8th grade, and “it was a girl who was there for a dance lesson like me; she was also very young, a student like me. At first I thought she was really pretty, but then I started seeing her really often”, making his feelings increase.
The idol even confessed and made his member excited by revealing that his teacher motivated him to talk to her: “The dance teacher told me, ‘Go talk to her at once! but I was like, ‘I don’t even speak English’, so we couldn’t communicate”.

Jimin asked him, “But if it were now?” and the singer answered with shyness, “Maybe I would go for it. ‘I like you♡'”, concluding in English and receiving a high five from his member of BTS, who said, “That’s actually a cute story”.
