The successful Korean pop singer Jungkook surprised all his fans just days before the long-awaited debut of his album as a soloist, ‘Golden’. The idol shared a small trailer for the song ‘Standing Next to You‘, giving certain clues about what this theme will be.
In this preview teaser of the theme, which was shared on November 1st, one can appreciate a similarity to the top pop star Michael Jackson, so one could think that it is a tribute to the King of Pop, as his dress and dance steps make a lot of reference to the American singer.
However, the official release of the album on all digital platforms will be on November 3rd. This production has much meaning for the singer and the ARMY because, despite being a project without his dear BTS colleagues, ‘Golden’ would be his first album for his solo career.
This great challenge will give him the opportunity to highlight his great skills for singing and dancing, as seen in the trailer. This album was carried out by the producers Andrew Watt and Cirkut, who were also key part in the global success of the idol solo song ‘Seven’.
The 33-second teaser has managed to reach surprising figures, about 1.5 million reproductions in just 5 hours since its release, becoming a hit, as well as Jungkook new song in collaboration with The Kid Laroi and Central Cee, which manages to position in the top 10 of singles in the UK.
