BTS’ Jungkook had one of the greatest years in 2023 after he released his successful solo debut album, “GOLDEN.” The album is still a cultural phenomenon on social media, as numerous songs are trending and some others charting in the most important musical markets worldwide.
The United Kingdom has recognized the Golden Maknae as one of the best idols of the Kpop scene to date. “GOLDEN” title track, “Standing Next to You” is living proof of it, as it has accumulated 11 consecutive weeks in the UK official Charts.
On January 27, the UK official charts were glad to announce that “Standing Next to You” ranks at #87 on the Singles Top 100 chart. Since its debut in November at #6, the song has fought its way in the chart, adding up another week to his historical legacy.
This feat becomes even more impressive as BTS’ Jungkook is currently on hiatus because of his military enlistment on December 12.
