Recently BTS member Jungkook expressed his discomfort about the overuse of AI during a live stream amid his preparations for the boy group’s ‘World Tour ARIRANG.’
During the early morning of April 8th KST, the Golden Maknae went live on Weverse and told fans he woke up hungry, and he decided to interact with them while eating ramen, answering some of their questions and sharing his thoughts.
Amid their talk, Jungkook was asked about his use of AI; he revealed that he usually used it when he had to search for something or for translations, but he also pointed out that this tool should be used in a controlled way.
“But we should really tone down using AI. I mean what I’m saying is, if AI is used in a way that helps a lot of people, like supporting certain jobs or meaningful work, then I think that’s really great.”
“But honestly, people are making all kinds of things with AI now… it’s getting hard to even tell what’s real and what’s AI anymore.”
“At that point, how is it any different from deepfakes? I think we shouldn’t overuse AI like this.”

With these comments, the idol gave a serious and important lesson to fans and netizens about the responsible use of AI in current days when it is difficult to distinguish between what is real and what is created by these tools that, if misused, can be dangerous.
