The first taste of Jungkook’s military muscle era came on May 3, when bodybuilder Choi Hanjin casually dropped a gym selfie that broke the Internet. Jungkook, alongside fellow BTS member V and K-drama heartthrob Song Kang, posed looking absolutely shredded. From there, it was clear that Jungkook didn’t come to play: his buff era had started, and there was no return to the twink he once was.

By May 13, hype hit a whole new level. During a live stream, J-Hope confirmed what we were all thinking: V and Jungkook had leveled up their physiques.
