Jungkook is one of the most acclaimed members of BTS, all thanks to the success of his solo musical career, on this occasion the artist, taking advantage of fame, decided to auction off his old personal car and it was sold at auction for a million-dollar sum.
The singer’s car, a Mercedes Benz AMG G 63, was auctioned via Backlot and sold for 1.2 billion won or $917,080 on Tuesday through the official auction platform Seoul Auction.
Backlot only described the car as being “driven by a world celebrity after the car was launched”, but after it was revealed to be K-Pop group Jungkook, it garnered much more attention.

Jungkook purchased this car in 2019.

The car was supposed to go up for auction in November, but the process was halted shortly before the auction closed after the highest bidder was found to be a foreigner whose identity could not be identified.
The Backlot then resumed the auction last Tuesday after banning foreign minors from participating and limiting participation to those who left a deposit of 5 million won or $3,821, ending the auction on the same day.
