BTS’ Jimin has reached another major streaming achievement with his solo track “Who.” Big Hit Music, the artist’s agency, announced on August 1, 2026, that the hit had passed 2.5 billion streams on Spotify as of July 30, 2026. The song is the title track and main single from Jimin’s second solo mini-album, MUSE. The long-standing track reached the milestone about two years after its original release in July 2024, and it has become Jimin’s most-streamed solo song on Spotify.
“Who” combines elements of R&B and pop with a Y2K-infused attitude, combining elements with a strong beat that begins as soon as the listener presses play. Meanwhile, its lyrics describe longing for a person that has not yet been found, while Jimin’s vocals communicate uncertainty, desire, emotional conflict, and yearning. The song’s lasting popularity shows that listeners continue returning to it long after its first release.
The track also achieved strong results on the United States Billboard Hot 100. It entered the chart at number 12 and remained there for 33 weeks, giving the BTS member one of the most successful solo runs by a KPop artist on the chart. The news of the track’s success comes after BTS announced that they would not submit their music for Grammy consideration on July 29, 2026. The members explained that they wanted music to be heard and loved beyond regional or language categories, sharing their decision through identical statements posted on Instagram stories:
