During his interview for GQ Korea, BTS’ Jimin was asked about his friendships, with the question ‘What kind of attitude and values should a good friend have?’
So the idol answered that everyone finds someone who matches well with them, that there are those who like to have genuine, brilliant friends or who are good at listening to you.
But the quality that the BTS member values the most is flexibility, which is what he has realized goes much better with him when he meets other people.

“I, personally, was able to be around people who were flexible, so that’s what I’m thinking about right now.”
So to be a great friend to Jimin, you just need to be flexible. i.e. someone who is understanding and not square-minded, that’s all the idol is looking for to form a nice friendship.
