BTS’ Jimin released his debut album, Face, a few months ago. He is the latest member of the band to start a career as a solo artist while they are on hiatus. Recently, he became a trending topic on social media due to the success of his career.
According to his fans, he earned the title of “The King of iTunes” after releasing songs such as “Like Crazy”, “With You”, “Set Me Free Pt.2” and “Angel Pt.1” which were all very successful. On top of that, his collaboration with Ha Sung-Woon, “With You”, became the fastest song to reach #1 in more than 100 countries with 119 in total.
After he released “Like Crazy”, he broke the record of the most streamed song in 24 hours and topped the iTunes charts in 112 countries. Something similar happened with the release of “Set Me Free Pt.2” which rose to #1 in less than 24 hours after it was released.
A few days ago, he released “Angel Pt. 1” in collaboration with Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, JVKE, and Muni Long for the Fast & Furious 10 movie soundtrack. Just like with the other songs, this one reached #1 in more than 100 countries and his fans crowned him as “The King of iTunes” for being the first artist to achieve this with four different songs.
