Recent reports revealed that BTS‘ Jimin donated 100 million won, or approximately 75,000 USD, to support students in Jeonbuk, North Jeolla Province, moving all his fans with his generous act for an important cause.
On September 25, the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education told media during a phone conversation, “Jimin’s representatives expressed their intention to donate 100 million KRW for scholarships back in July”.
According to the media, the donation was arranged through Jimin’s father, who discussed the donation process with the Provincial Office of Education, and the amount was subsequently deposited into the Love Scholarship Foundation account.

The funds will be used for scholarships for elementary, middle, high, and special school students in the province, with the intention of supporting academically outstanding students in financial need.
This is the BTS member’s sixth donation to local education offices; since 2019, the idol has contributed the same amount of 100 million KRW to the Busan, Jeonnam, Gangwon, Chungbuk, and Gyeongnam education offices, making his fans proud.
