In her Instagram stories, Jiwoo, J-Hope’s sister, pointed out that cataracts and glaucoma are common in Shih Tzus and usually show up when they are of advanced age. Unfortunately, Mickey has this condition, so at the time he showed up, the Jung family went through a lot of pain and even shed tears.
Although it was a difficult time for her, J-Hope, and the rest of her family, thankfully the puppy has adapted to the new status in its eyes. Although it cannot see, it can now identify where certain objects are, such as it bowl and food, are located through touch.
Also, the god can feel its favorite spot in the living room where the puppy usually sleeps.

Jiwoo revealed that Mickey was rescued by her family after someone abandoned it at a gas station. According to the influencer, she reported that 12 years ago some grandparents told her and her mother that her daughter had left the puppy with them because it was very difficult to take care of a puppy.
Since then, she has been very grateful to have it in her life.
J-Hope’s sister pointed out that it hasn’t been easy for her parents to take care of him now that it is getting old and can’t see.
Now she is the one who takes care of him, however, his whole family will always do their best to keep Mickey happy and healthy because the pet is like the youngest son.
