The donations will support medical facilities for pediatric and adolescent patients, improve hospital environments, provide home-based care for severely ill children, and operate psychological support programs. J-Hope said he donates to give back to ARMY (the group’s fandom) and hopes children can recover and pursue their dreams.
The KPop sensation expands his giving through Green Umbrella
On the same day, February 18, 2026, the BTS member also donated 100 million won to Green Umbrella, a child welfare organization. The contribution will provide scholarships to students at Gwangju International High School, his former school, and Jeonnam Girls’ Commercial High School. Since 2018, J-Hope has supported vulnerable children through the organization, including families affected by COVID 19.
With his cumulative donations reaching 1 billion won, he became the 14th member of the Green Noble Trinity Club. But J-Hope is not only working for a good cause, as he is also gearing up to release BTS’ next full-length album on March 20, 2026, and will later embark on the ARIRANG World Tour, with 82 dates throughout this year and 2027.
