BTS is taking the South Korean music programs by storm with their astonishing popularity among the K-Netizens. The idols who recently released their title track, “SWIM,” have made huge waves as they are on a hot streak of wins.
On April 12 KST, A new episode of SBS’ Inkigayo aired its latest episode with some iconic performances from KEYVITUP, Hwasa, KISS OF LIFE, YOUNG POSSE, and AMPERS&ONE, among other great emerging Kpop idols. However, BTS stole the spotlight with their latest achievement.
As usual, the hosts of the show took over the stage to announce the candidates of the weekly competition based on the K-Charts and popularity charts. This time, BTS with “SWIM”, IVE with “BANG BANG”, and Hearts2Hearts with “RUDE!” were all competing for the crown, but BTS snatched it for a 13th time, extending their hot streak and positioning as one of the most important acts in the Kpop scene nowadays, despite debuting almost more than a decade ago.
