BTS’ “Butter” has set a new record 14 weeks after its initial release!

On August 30 local time, Billboard released the top 10 of the Hot 100, its famous weekly chart of the most popular songs in the United States.

“Butter” rose one spot higher than last week to rank at No. 7 on this week’s Hot 100. The song has now ranked within the top 10 of the Hot 100 for 14 consecutive weeks, breaking the record previously set by BTS’ “Dynamite” for the longest-running top 10 on the Hot 100 by a Korean act.

“Butter” also topped the digital song sales chart during the thirteenth week, with BTS’s other new release, “Permission to Dance,” at No. 5 on the same chart.
