The Coachella 2027 lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but the rumors are already heating up, and ARMY around the world has reasons to dream big with BTS. Fans think the poster could drop any day now: the 2026 lineup arrived in September 2025, and the last two editions revealed their bills earlier than ever.
Hits Daily Double, the industry trade publication that often reports bookings before festivals make them official, shared the latest negotiation rumors. According to the report, psychedelic rock band Tame Impala and pop star Dua Lipa are expected to fill two of the headliner spots, while the third remains up in the air.
Tame Impala has the calendar to make it work. Kevin Parker wraps the North American leg of the Deadbeat Tour in September, plays Australia in October and doesn’t get back on the road until late May, which leaves the April dates free. He’s also riding a big wave: “Dracula (JENNIE Remix)” has stayed on the Billboard Global 200 for more than 48 weeks, and “Loser,” featured in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” climbed to No. 3 one month after the film’s release. The band headlined Coachella in 2019 and also performed in 2011, 2013 and 2015.
Dua Lipa, meanwhile, has never headlined Coachella or performed a full solo set there. The pop star, who became known worldwide in 2017 with “New Rules,” has seen “Training Season” spend 34 weeks on the Billboard Global 200, peaking at No. 3 in September.
The big debate is the third spot. Hits hinted that Goldenvoice, the company behind Coachella, is trying to sign BTS, whose Arirang World Tour ends on March 16, 2027, right in time for the April festival. That would be a huge moment for ARMY. Rumors about SZA are also spreading; she was Justin Bieber’s special guest on Weekend 2 of Coachella 2026, where she performed “Snooze.” Bruno Mars, Olivia Rodrigo and Miley Cyrus were reportedly on the list too.
