Popstar Bruno Mars is currently touring the world with his music. Recently, his show had a stop in Israel, where he was able to play for 60,000 concert-goers in Tel Aviv’s Park HaYarton – an achievement only reached by Madonna and Michael Jackson in the past.

The singer first performed on Wednesday, October 4, and was scheduled to have another sold-out show in Tel Aviv this Saturday, October 7. Unfortunately, the show was canceled following Hammas’ attacks on Israeli territory.

After this, Live Nation announced Bruno Mars’ second show would be called off in the country and confirmed it would be refunding the ticket prices to customers automatically. This information was first posted through Live Nation’s Instagram profile in Hebrew, and it reads:

“Dear customers, the performance of Bruno Mars that was planned to take place tonight is canceled. All ticket buyers for the show will receive an automatic refund to the credit card with which the purchase was made. We are strengthening the residents of Israel, the IDF fighters, and the security forces in these difficult moments.”

Israel confirmed a “state of war” in the nation after Hammas perpetrated massive attacks from Gaza. Due to this tragic event, the lives of 600 Israeli people have been lost and tourists are now trying to flee the country.

Fortunately, Israeli TV host, Guy Pines, confirmed that Bruno Mars and his crew had left Israel on Saturday afternoon through an Instagram story. He also confirmed the R&B singer was safe and stated he was scheduled to perform in Athens, Greece.
