Finally comes a victory for the Duke of Sussex, as the British press will have to pay a huge fine to Prince Harry for invasion of privacy by hacking his phone to obtain personal information that could spread in the news media in the country.

After a long judicial process, the judge in charge of the case issued the sentence after verifying the illegal practices that ‘Mirror Group Newspapers‘ (MGN) had been carrying out to obtain privileged information about Prince Harry or his close ones, disturbing his right to privacy.

The Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN), which is comprised of The Mirror, The Sunday Mirror, and The People, will have to pay damages of 163,000 euros, as this illegal practice has significantly affected the Prince’s reputation over the last decade.

Upon the revelation of the final judgment by the London judge, the prince wrote a letter that began by saying “Today is a great day for the truth” to finally reveal that he was pleased to teach a lesson to the British media that he had not only engaged in piracy but also in hiding and destruction of evidence.
