The British monarchy and Meghan Markle have gone downhill since she decided to move to the United States to live a calmer life. The latest proof of the deteriorated relationship was the increasing rumors that the monarchy erased everything that involves Meghan in royal files.
According to British media outlets, the royal institution decided to erase Meghan Markle’s name from Prince Archie’s birth certificate without any warning which increased the speculations around the topic. It was assumed that it might be a possible divorce between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Legally, she cannot be denied as Prince Archie’s mother, so Buckingham Palace modified the birth certificate. They replaced the original entered name Rachel Meghan Markle with “Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex.”
“The change of name on public documents in 2019 was dictated by the Palace, as confirmed by documents from senior Palace officials. This was not requested by Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex nor by the Duke of Sussex,” read a statement from Meghan’s spokesperson.
The British monarchy found the perfect way to admonish Meghan Markle because of the current controversies and the irreparable damage she did to the royal family’s reputation and image. This is the ultimate proof both parties are unable to reconcile anytime soon and could mean a low blow to Markle’s ego.
