The BRIT Awards 2026 nominations were officially announced on January 21, 2026, and this year’s list reflects a growing global influence, particularly from KPop artists. This time, BLACKPINK’s Rosé made history by becoming the first KPop soloist to receive a BRIT Awards nomination thanks to “APT.” The viral song, a collaboration with Bruno Mars, was nominated for International Song of the Year. The track was released in October 2024 and achieved major success on global charts, marking a new height for Korean solo artists worldwide and at the BRITs.

KPop representation keeps growing stronger with the nominations of KPop Demon Hunters. The movie’s main song, “Golden,” performed by Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami under the fictional group name HUNTR/X, earned a nomination for International Song of the Year. In addition, HUNTR/X was nominated for International Group of the Year, becoming the first animated act ever nominated in that category. “Golden” previously won the Golden Globe Award and the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Original Song.
