During a recent interview, Bottega Veneta‘s creative director, Matthieu Blazy, reveals why he chose BTS‘ RM as his ambassador, moving many K-Pop fans with his sweet words about his bond with the famous idol.
Just starting his conversation with SPUR, the creative director of the fashion brand was asked about why he chose the K-pop artist to be an ambassador, revealing what sparked her interest in the rapper in the first place.
“Everyone knows about BTS. In my case, I read an interview with The New York Times and became interested in RM’s interesting perspective on art. After talking to him on the phone a few times, I first invited him to the show to do something together. Backstage, he was very interested in the venue and the sculpture, so I talked about i”.
“He’s a superstar, and I’m in the fashion world, but we talk about our common interests, like art, culture, and travel. It felt like I was finally able to meet the people I wanted to meet. It felt like I could deepen my friendship beyond work”, confessing how they connect and quickly create a bond.
