On October 1st, 2025, BLACKPINK’s Rosé opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about what could be the biggest milestone of her career: winning a Grammy! The “Number One Girl” singer said just the thought of it gives her “chills,” calling the possibility “still a dream” and “a fantasy” she’s not ready to give up on. With the massive success of her viral hit “APT.” featuring Bruno Mars, she might be closer than ever!

The track was released in October 2024 and served as the anchor for her debut solo album, “Rosie.” “APT” then spent 12 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200, and the album itself reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200, making Rosé’s debut one of the biggest for a Korean act. If she and Bruno Mars secure a nomination in any category, Rosé could become the first K-pop artist to win a Grammy. Different pictures of her team sending the “For Your Consideration” boxes to the Grammy voters are fueling the dream of a Grammy nomination, bringing her closer to the feat and this strong campaign might just pay off with a Grammy in her hands by February 1st, 2026.

Bruno Mars himself is cheering her on, calling Rosé “Big Bad Rosie” and praising her fearless artistry. For Rosé, the project was about being unapologetically herself as a 27-year-old navigating fame, social media, and self-acceptance. On the work front, she recently reunited with BLACKPINK for the DEADLINE World Tour, which will resume on October 18th in Taiwan after a two-month break.
