BLACKPINK’s new mini-album “DEADLINE” is expected to debut at #6 on the Billboard 200 chart after its release on February 27, 2026. Early projections shared by Hits Daily Double estimate that the project could debut with around 60,000 units sold in its first week. The mini-album features five tracks and was led by the single “JUMP,” which was performed on the DEADLINE World Tour and was the first taste of the project. Then, “GO” followed as the companion single for the album, generating strong interest among fans and other listeners.

This EP is BLACKPINK’s first major project as a group since their album “BORN PINK,” which was released on September 16, 2022. The long gap between releases seemed to have increased anticipation from fans who had been waiting for new music from the group for years.

If the projections remain stable, “DEADLINE” will become the fourteenth biggest debut of the year so far. A top ten debut would confirm the group’s continued influence in the international music market, and most importantly in the United States.
