BLACKPINK’s LISA is all about leveling up! After her fierce track “ROCKSTAR” and the spicy bop “New Woman” featuring Rosalía, the 27-year-old K-pop sensation is already eyeing her next big collab. In a recent Audacy interview, the BLACKPINK member revealed she would love to join forces with none other than Doja Cat.
“But for now that I can think of, Doja Cat. I love her. Doja Cat, for sure, is my next goal.”
While Lisa has been recently venturing into her solo career with different bops, that does not mean she is a rookie when it comes to working with big names. As a BLACKPINK member, she collaborated with Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, and Lady Gaga. Similarly, her solo releases have been supported by joint efforts with Ryan Tedder, Max Martin, Tove Lo, Rosalía, and most recently Sixpence None the Richer’s “Kiss Me,” which is interpolated in Lisa’s “Moonlit Floor.”
The BLACKPINK member continues making dazzling solo moves. For this fresh step in her career, she established her own label, LLOUD, and joined forces with RCA Records in America. Despite focusing on her soloist career, the Thai idol will continue being a BLACKPINK member under YG Entertainment.
