BLACKPINK’s Lisa made a splash when she joined The White Lotus Season 3 in early 2025, playing Mook. Fans were absolutely hyped to see her acting debut, but besides being on the big screen, the idol had more plans! Her co-star, Tayme Thapthimthong, spilled that she had one major request on set. Instead of sticking to Thai, Lisa asked if they could chat in English.

At first, Tayme assumed she would prefer speaking Thai for their roles on the series. However, Lisa wanted to sharpen her English skills in the set. So they ended up talking in English for rehearsals and hangouts. Tayme admitted they initially mixed it up, but now they mostly speak English when they see each other.
The White Lotus Season 3 concluded on April 6, 2025, with a season finale that left fans and viewers completely shook. Meanwhile, Lisa dropped her debut solo album “Alter Ego” on February 26 and will perform at Coachella on Friday, April 11 and 18. Later this year, she’ll reunite with her BLACKPINK members for their tour, kicking off in July.
