BLACKPINK just dropped “Jump,” and their entire fanbase went into celebration mode. The single hit No. 1 on the iTunes US chart within hours of its July 11 release. That makes them the only girl group to ever top that chart multiple times. The song is BLACKPINK’s first full-group release with a promotional effort since Born Pink in 2022, and clearly, the world missed them.

Initially, “Jump” was premiered on stage during BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE World Tour, which kicked off on July 5 at Goyang Stadium in South Korea. While YG Entertainment debated on whether or not to drop the track before the tour began, they decided to surprise concert attendees with the track debuting on stage. Following their first South Korean shows, the quartet will visit other Asian countries, North America, and Europe.
